About Chrome Sherb

Chrome Sherb is built from two lines that each took years of selection to reach their final form. The mother is the legendary Z-Road cut — an unreleased cultivar bred by Jaime, a close friend and respected figure in Barcelona's legacy scene. Z-Road traces back to a selected Road Dawg female (Stardawg x Biker Kush, Karma Genetics) pollinated with a Face Off OG BX2 male. From that progeny, a standout male was selected and used to pollinate the original Zkittlez cut, eventually producing Z-Road — a documented fusion of sweet candy Z character and powerful fuel-heavy OG influence.The pollen donor is Grounded's own Ultraviolet Sherb, a line that began in 2020 when the Runtz cut was reversed onto the original Sunset Sherb to create Designer Sherb. From 80 seeds, an incredibly dark, almost black phenotype was selected for its intense fizzy sherbert terpene expression. To improve production without losing that flavor, the selection was crossed with reversed RS11 pollen, producing a keeper that retained everything from the original Designer Sherb while adding the structure, yield, and commercial viability needed. That keeper became Ultraviolet Sherb. Chrome Sherb is the result of reversing that Ultraviolet Sherb and pollinating Jaime's Z-Road cut — a cross built from legacy genetics passed between breeders, not hype.
