The Papaya Sour Spritz is the last of a series of three new crosses from Greenhouse Seeds released using their powerful Air Lemon as a donor to bring its high potency and deep lemon gas fragrance, blended with some of the fruitiest cultivars.
The result is a strong hybrid plant that leans slightly toward the indica side in the way its flowers develop, while retaining the vigorous growth of the Air Lemon. This brings a touch of sativa influence, allowing the plant to stretch slightly without becoming too tall—just enough to create a bushy structure with big, chunky, and frosty tops on every branch.
The flowers are tight and compact, with a low leaf-to-flower ratio, and can occasionally develop some light foxtailing, giving them a beautiful shape with large, swollen calyxes. The leaf structure is reminiscent of the Air Lemon, with its sharp edges, while the Papaya genetics introduce stunning coloration that can even appear in the trichomes themselves. This can potentially lead to red-toned extracts due to anthocyanin production in the resin. The leaves and flowers are coated in that pungent, sticky goodness we’re all looking for.
The effects are immediate, hitting the head first with an uplifting buzz that gradually settles into a long-lasting, gentle body high. It’s a well-rounded experience that can keep you going throughout the day, often accompanied by a light, giggly mood. Perfect for all-day use.
The aroma of the flowers is led by dominant Papaya notes—an intensely tropical sweetness that leaves an almost oily sensation on the palate when inhaled and exhaled. This is followed by the sharp, sweet lemon gas from the Air Lemon, along with subtle earthy undertones on the exhale. The result is a perfectly balanced profile that delivers a long-lasting cocktail of flavours.
